Hi,Â
I’m Dee — where creativityÂ
meets passionÂ
and purpose. 🎨💫Â
Project 52 is my commitment to consistency, discipline, and creative growth—one piece of art every week for an entire year. It’s not just about producing work, but about showing up for the process, even on the days when inspiration feels distant. Each piece becomes a marker of time, capturing where I am mentally, emotionally, and artistically in that moment. Over the course of the year, this project builds a visual journal—an evolving collection that reflects experimentation, risk-taking, and refinement of my voice. Project 52 is about trusting the journey, embracing imperfection, and allowing creativity to develop through repetition and persistence.Â
January opens quietly, but beneath the stillness something is forming. This month is about beginnings that don’t rush—about color finding courage, form finding voice, and identity taking shape. Each piece marks a step in becoming: from growth, to movement, to grounding, to self-realization.Â
February begins with a shift—you can feel the energy changing. Where January was quiet and reflective, February starts to breathe, stretch, and move outward. This month is about awakening—stepping into motion, exploring new environments, and embracing color with more confidence. There’s a sense of curiosity here, of life reintroducing itself in different forms. Each piece captures a moment of connection—with nature, with movement, and with self—marking the transition from stillness into flow.Â
March moves with feeling - maybe because its my birthday month.
Where February awakened energy, March lets it pour—through rain, through water, through life in motion. This month is about surrendering to the flow of emotion and environment, allowing yourself to be carried, shaped, and softened by the world around you. There’s a deeper connection to nature here—earth, sea, and sky all blending into the experience. From quiet introspection in the rain to vibrant life beneath and above the water, March explores freedom, expression, and the beauty of simply moving as you are.
April comes into focus. April settles into presence.
After the emotional movement of March, this series turns toward stillness, form, and clarity. Each subject is isolated and deliberate—ordinary objects made intentional through color, weight, and composition. There’s a quiet discipline here: less about movement, more about holding. Read more .....
