MAY COMES INTOÂ
" BLOOM"
May opens outward!
Where April was an exercise in restraint, May embraces expression. The works in this collection lean into memory, imagination, and delight—finding significance not only in what is observed, but in what is felt. Sea creatures drift through painted waters, a crimson fawn emerges from tall grasses, dancers appear suspended between movement and dream, and ordinary fruit transforms into something playful and sculptural. Nature, fantasy, and personal symbolism meet here with greater confidence and color.
There is a sense of becoming throughout the series. Forms are less contained, more willing to occupy space and invite emotion. Texture remains central, but now it carries a livelier energy—celebrating curiosity, joy, and the freedom to experiment. May becomes a season of expansion, where imagination is given room to breathe and familiar subjects are reimagined through wonder, color, and possibility.
Guardians of the Blue!
Moving through calm waters, the turtle carries a quiet wisdom. The textured shell becomes a map of endurance and belonging, reminding us that strength often appears in its gentlest forms.Â
" WHERE WILD AWAITS"
Hidden among tall grasses, the fawn exists between reality and imagination. Its vivid red form transforms a familiar creature into a symbol of innocence, wonder, and the stories we carry from childhood. .Â
" AFTER THE PERFORMANCE"
The dancer has disappeared, but the energy remains. Suspended against a luminous field of color, the empty costume becomes a portrait of presence through absence—movement remembered rather than seen.Â
Balanced between strength and elegance, the dancer unfolds across the canvas with quiet confidence. The vibrant red tutu captures both discipline and joy, celebrating the beauty of expression through movement.Â
Title: Â THE MEETING PLACE
Sea, sky, stone, and driftwood converge at the edge of the tide. The work reflects the constant conversation between movement and stillness, where every wave leaves behind a trace of its journey.Â
UNEXPECTED HARVESTÂ
Bright lemons emerge from painted branches, blurring the line between artwork and object. Playful yet carefully composed, the piece celebrates abundance, optimism, and the pleasure of seeing familiar things anew.Â
May: A Season of Wonder
This collection explores imagination as a way of seeing. Through vibrant color, tactile surfaces, and subjects drawn from nature, memory, and movement, the works invite moments of curiosity and delight. Together, they reflect a season of growth—where observation gives way to exploration and ordinary forms become extraordinary through attention, play, and creative possibility.
